Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

So a lot of people left a lot of comments and also a lot of people noted me about the end of Sparkles Experiments, saying it was too abrupt.

This Journal's really to respond to everybody at once about this;

Just like how at the end of Lord of the Rings, we had Frodo succeed in the story's main quest, and then a 20 minute section rounding off all the other unresolved points such as Aragorn's fate, Sam Gamgee's life etc. Twilight has successfully fixed the main problem in the story, and now, I'll be doing a few more comics/deviations, rounding off the unresolved points.

^I actually did say this in the description of Log 31 as well, that Log 31 was simply the end of the logs, and not Sparkles Experiment stuff^

I should also let everybody know now that it'd pay to read the description in some of the upcoming deviations, as there will be a lot more information in that about the aftermath of the Experiments along with the submissions.

P.S. - Many are asking why I suddenly incorporated the Mirror Pool into the comic despite the comic starting before Too Many Pinkies. In the very start, I had planned to do a clone comic, then Too Many Pinkies came along, and it just seemed easier to use the already-canon cloning device, rather than just a magic spell that I was going to have Twilight use.

I didn't say anything actually, but I have to disagree with the argument here. Return of the King was a movie all the way through. You capped off an extended series of minute comics with a wall of text in the description of one. I would have enjoyed it more if you had just given us the picture with NO information or word bubbles, forcing the audience to come up with the events on their own. I had gathered everything that had happened and developed a warm fuzzy feeling inside before I even scrolled down.

The honest truth is that i didn't even KNEW it was over , even after watching Log 31. (didn't read description in the first place)

A log 32 would've been helpful to not end it so abruptly.
But if you're starting some more based on the aftermath ... damn i'm confused lol.
