I could fix this... As long as Twilight Genie can remember the approximate time she found the found the crystal, I can go back in time to just before she found said crystal, and divert her attention away from it long enough for me to destroy it, thus preventing her from becoming a genie in the first place... The only downside is that this would retcon the universe that Twilight Genie existed in, and all wishes made in this universe would be negated (wishing for various other pony genies, etc.)...
but wouldn't the space time continuum crumble to shards, plus Dr. hooves clearly said "it is dangerous to change a fixed point in time due to times frail nature"?, thus making it impossible to reverse and avoid this occurrence, plus even if it was possible don't you think princess celestia already tried to reverse it?
OK since you and others said that I should be willing to have my opinions I'll share mine: this is stupid and it sucks.
You've basically thrown any chance of them being free out the window and since thsi is a "fun" blog and not a story blog I think I'm pretty much done. I should have listened to my instincts and just quit when experiments ended because now I'm pissed and I only have myself to blame.
I have more details I could go into but no one likes it when I write essays so I'll just say that I enjoyed it while it lasted and move on.
So, the old "ice-storm" comic artist gag. With added magic! One of the most useful techniques for artists! Thanks for filling in some holes! I have really gotten to enjoy this tumblr! You've done a great job so far and I can't wait to see it keep going!
hmmm, I don't know about that, Celestia might have had all the magical professors working on this, but I don't think she had the shrewdness of our lawyers, or the self-proclaimed insanity of our... whatever I am, I already know a work around that will probably work (around). I know you might be content to stay in your cave for now, so I won't get you're hopes up, or disturb you yet, but one day, I have a feeling you will want to go out, and explore the worlds, have adventures, and all that, besides, for now, this is more fun.
On a related note, Twilight, why did you choose Trixie to be your eternal companion? If you had honestly granted her wishes, she could have, and probably would have, helped you get the eternal companion you desired, so that leads me to believe that... the resign you didn't is that she is the one you desire... (yeah, pretty obvious, I know, but still, hasn't been directly addressed yet.)
>"It's not really fair to ask somepony to take our places..."
But it's okay to intentionally misinterpret a wish to transform someone into a genie against their will, if you're lonely. I see. Where did that Shining Armor go? He needs to carry through on that threat.
